A short journey by steam

We were back in the Brecon Beacons today, Merthyr Tydfil and the Brecon Mountain Railway. Our steam engine (or the one that pushed the train we were on) was the Graf Schwerin-Lowitz which was built in East Germany in 1908.

The steam engine weighing 14 tons. Theres something very romantic about old steam engines. So so beautiful.

The view from the window as we headed back to Pant Terminus.
