Newcastle on a day off

Lee had to work on St Patricks day, but I had the day off, and so did his ma and pa. So the three of us, along with the dogs, went to Newcastle for the day.

Lee's ma and I walked the dogs while his dad did a painting of the Mourne mountains. We drank Guinness in the Slieve Donard and talked and talked.

It was cold, but the streets were full. Young folk with their green afros and shamrocks painted on their cheeks.

We ate Irish stew and drank tea in a cafe.
I was off today as well. But today, I only cleaned and ironed and cooked burgers for our dinner. Also, I got to sleep in late...and that was wonderful.
