Point-to-Point - A day in a field

We didn't have any plans for the day and the family were going to the Mid-Antrim Point to Point at the Higgins Estate in Moneyglass. And so we went along for an afternoon standing in a field with some horses and old men in their flat caps.
Young men too, in their flat caps!
Shaun, me, Lee and Uncle Joe

I didn't expect to enjoy it, but I did. Everyone was so cheery and so entertaining.

  3. Hi,

I live nearby and want to get that photo framed!

Neber knew it was designed by Charles Lanyon either and wonder if you would link it to the BBC? Saw this on FB:

BBC Newsline asked if you were concerned about any historic buildings in your area which are lying derelict or in a state of disrepair. Twelve such buildings have been damaged by fire in Northern Ireland this year. We'll put your photographs up here as we get them. Please send to bbcnewsline@bbc.co.uk

Due to it similiarty with the Crumlin Road Courthouse and its interesting location, and its such a brilliant photos I'm sure they'd cover it.

    Best wishes,
