We were staying a couple of kilometres outside Cordes-sur-Ciel, a medieval hilltop 'bastide' town. The cobbled streets leading to the top were so steep and climbing to the top a real workout. It was all worth it though, every street and every corner has something beautiful to see. I'm a real sucker for a medieval town.
This is where we came for our pastry/bread supplies. The pâtisserie at the bottom of town made the prettiest cakes!
