10km on a Sunday afternoon

Lee's been training for the Belfast half marathon. As part of his training, he ran a 10km race in the Glenravel festival this afternoon. While Lee ran, Amy and I took a little walk around the area and stopped to talk to some friendly horses.
We're going to have to buy Amy a pony. Her reaction was similar to that when she met Teddy the other day.

Lee finished in 7th place in 48:25 minutes. Yay! Well done Lee!

A teddy bears' picnic

On Sunday, after very little sleep, we took the babies to Antrim lough shore for the teddy bears' picnic.
Amy was SO EXCITED to see Teddy!
Her enormous smiles and squeals were the cutest things ever.
Little sweetheart.

Another cousin-in-law got married...

...and so here are a whole lot more photos of our baby at their wedding!
Yes, hooray! Clap hands!!
...aaand the happy couple, Lee's cousin Joseph & his wife Venita.
The girl with the guitar played and sang during the ceremony. It was beautiful.

A Friday eve in Ballymena

We're back home after a full and busy weekend.
We went to Ballymena on Friday evening when Lee finished work;
Shane, Janette and James came round too
and the babies got to play together a while before bath and bedtime.

James is walking now, and it looks like Amy won't be too far behind!
She's been standing by herself over the last week and only wants to be on her feet.
I think she loves James, she always has big smiles for him. And that tongue is never in her mouth these days.
We were in Ballymena because we were all going to a wedding in Cushendall on Saturday (post to follow)
We're pretty tired and we've all gone and got the cold.

Sunday lunch

Photos from yesterdays lunch...

Lee's been cooking. He's been all over his recipe books this past week deciding on his menu for Sunday lunch. We delivered the rolled up and tied with ribbon menu on Wednesday. We had twice baked goats cheese soufflé, roasted shoulder of lamb, rack of lamb and lambs liver, followed by an apple tart tartin, tea and coffee and the Northern Irish 'fifteens' (above). (Amy had some squash and chicken, I didn't think she would fancy soufflé).

We had some wine, I had a little too :)

And I got to serve tea in my pretty teapot Yvonne gave us for our wedding :)
