Thomas is 3 months (On Sunday)

He's such a sweet wee boy. To celebrate turning a big 3 months old, he did a big 6 hour stretch of sleep on Saturday night and woke up only once.
But now he's picked up a cold, probably from the toddler group I've been taking them to, and he was very unsettled last night. Poor little baby Thomas.

Another beautiful day in County Antrim

It's been hot this past week. Amy stayed at nanas house on Tuesday night and Wednesday. I got some quality time spent with my wee boy. We walked the long way around to Glengormley and to Tesco, had a little drink in the cafe and and had a little mooch about before walking back home. I got to nap for almost 3 hours while Thomas (thankfully!) did one of his marathon naps :-) It was glorious. A mini holiday even.

Thomas has started to enjoy some tummy time ☺

I blew up Amys pool this week and she's been having fun in the water, but not braved actually climbing in yet!

The past week

We've had some sunshine and we've spent more time in the garden. On Friday I took the babies to our first ever parent and toddler/baby group! We missed the bus, so I threw a blanket over Amy in the pushchair, strapped Thomas to me and we walked to Glengormley. Amy was pretty shy and refused to leave my side and kept saying that I musnt leave her there. Poor child. Thomas lay around charming all the grannies and was passed around getting cuddles.

I didn't think Amy enjoyed it much, but she's been randomly bringing up 'the playgroup' and says she wants to go back again. Just so long as I don't leave her there!

A sunny day in the garden

We had a picnic and Amys teddys came too. Amy painted at the picnic table and Thomas napped and spent some time just looking around him. Poor neglected second child! We were outside all day...I can't wait for the summer!

Easter mini break to Donegal

It wasn't quite a holiday...just a change of scenery. All of us in one room with a grumpy post vaccinations 2 month old and a toddler isn't very relaxing. There were nappy explosions and nose bleeds and crying, lots of crying. Mostly just from Thomas.

Thee were nice bits too. Beautiful beaches, a few lovely meals an half pints if Guinness and sometimes both of the children were asleep.

Donegal holiday done, next...Portugal!
