Everyone was ready in time and there was no rushing or stressing or me having to raise my voice. What a lovely morning! I even had time to take some photos with the big camera before we got in the car and left for school.
Amy had drawn a little smiley face and cut it out, she was insisting on holding it for the photos.
Tom and I spent the morning at the Park and at Smyths Toy shop looking for a present for Oli's birthday party Amy's been invited to. At home, Tom played with his cars, watched Paw Patrol and I made another loaf of wheaten bread.
When I picked Amy up she had a sticker on it which read: 'ask me why I am wearing this sticker today'. So I asked and she told me that her teacher had sent her and another boy to the principals office to show off their maths skills and tell her the answers to their sums. Proud mummy indeed! She's doing so well :)
Her friends Evelyn and Amelie came over in the afternoon to play and it was an altogether lovely day.
